Time Management isn't really handled well in D&D (or most other RPGs). While, arguably, combat and downtime are dealt with relatively well, anything outside that is left purely to the DM's devices.
Due to the issues with Time Management, I will be providing a more concrete system for it. It will change the rules for time management drastically at most levels. Hopefully you will agree that these changes are for the better.
The first step to changing the system is to codify it. As such, I am breaking the game into four time based categories (or time-modes).
Each entry will describe that specific mode, and movement from mode to mode should be relatively obvious in most cases, but can shift quickly and seemlessly back and forth.
